Established
in 1981, the W.H. Myers Construction Co. was founded by William
H. Myers who brought 22 years of construction experience to the
firm, beginning as an apprentice, and ultimately serving as Vice
President of Construction for the R.M. Shoemaker Construction Company
in Philadelphia. In its early stages, the company focused primarily
on projects in the healthcare industry. Throughout the 1980's and
1990's, the W.H. Myers Construction Co. built on its foundation
of experience in the healthcare industry and expanded into the Institutional,
Retail, and Commercial Markets. Some of the notable projects completed
during this time include IBM Computer Data Center for Albert Einstein
Medical Center, The Animal Hospital at the Philadelphia Zoo, and
The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey.
With the retirement
of William H. Myers in 1998, the company came under the new ownership
of its senior management team including Raymond Orehowsky, President
and Director of Field Operations, William Mack, Vice President of
Estimating, and Salvatore Coppola, CPA, Vice President of Finance.
Today, the W.H. Myers Construction Co. provides a full range of
services, including Construction Management, General Contracting,
Value Engineering, and Design-Build Services for a variety of Healthcare,
Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, Financial, and Educational
clients throughout the Delaware Valley.
